Georgia Impact Fastpitch

At the 10u South Atlantic Qualifier in Spartanburg, SC, Rick Jeffreys finished runner up to earn a Berth to ASA Nationals.

David Martin's team was awarded a Berth for their participation and commitment to all of the ASA Regional and State Qualifiers.

At the 14u South Atlantic Qualifier in Chattanooga, Vance Medlam's Impact Silver team won the day. In winning the tournament out right, Vance's team punched thier ticket to ASA Nationals.

We wish them all the best of luck at their respective nationals.

In sending 14 out of the 17 Organization teams to ASA Nationals, The Georgia Impact sets a State of Georgia record.

Just when you think the Berth announcement was big enough, the Georgia Impact Fastpitch Organization is proud to be the holder of the State's highest Title in 12u, 14u an 16u.

The first team to win the 2010 State Championship was in 12u. Going undefeated, Buster Bass's team added another feather in their cap. After winning the 12u Hall of Fame Tournament, Buster sets his sights on winning the State's highest Softball Title. His goal is now to be the first Georgia Team to ever win a National Title in any age group. Not only would this be a record in Georgia, it would be a National record. No team in any state has ever won the trifecta of State Champion, Hall of Fame Champion and National Champion.

Unbelievable.....WOW....Over the Top! None of these expressions can quite state the events of this weekend.

The Georgia Impact set a State record by adding three more Berths to ASA Nationals.

In 14u, Al Owen was the highest finishing team at the State tournament without berth. They beat the Georgia Express to earn their berth amd the Organization's 9th Berth. In addition, Al's team finished in the final four.

In 16u, Jeff Brock was the highest finishing team at the State tournament without a bert. They ran the gauntlet of teams to earn the Organizations 10 Berth.

In 18Gold, Charles Miller's team beat the North Carolina Miken Lady Lightning at the South Atlantic Qualifier to earn the Organizations 11th Berth to Nationals.

Congrats to all three teams and much success at their respective Nationals.

A huge congrats goes out to the Georgia Impact - Gibson team. Short handed and banged up, Chris's team battled back to earn a Berth to ASA Nationals at the Piedmont Virginia National Qualifier.

Chris's team helped the Organization pick up its eight Berth to Nationals this weekend. Great job ladies on playing your hearts and representing the Organization.

We are very proud of you girls.
