Just when you think the Berth announcement was big enough, the Georgia Impact Fastpitch Organization is proud to be the holder of the State's highest Title in 12u, 14u an 16u.

The first team to win the 2010 State Championship was in 12u. Going undefeated, Buster Bass's team added another feather in their cap. After winning the 12u Hall of Fame Tournament, Buster sets his sights on winning the State's highest Softball Title. His goal is now to be the first Georgia Team to ever win a National Title in any age group. Not only would this be a record in Georgia, it would be a National record. No team in any state has ever won the trifecta of State Champion, Hall of Fame Champion and National Champion.

As Buster was closing out his day, Sonja Strother's 14u team was closing out the Organization's second title. Going 7-0, Sonja's team has taken is place among softball's elite. Sonja's team sites are also on winning a National Title. We cannot be anymore proud of what this team of young ladies has done this season. With a talented combination of pitching and hitting, they exemplify the backbone of Georgia softball.

The last State title was won by Jeff Brock. Jeff's teams feat was nothing short of remarkable. Running the gauntlet of the state's toughest and most talented teams, they can honestly say they have what it takes to be called State Champion. After a great run at the Independence Tournament, Jeff felt as though his team was peaking and they didnt dissapoint. They came out slugging and did not let up. Most teams would have stopped after earning a Berth. This team would not be happy until they won the State Title. ...and they did it!

History has been written with the Organization winning three of the five titles. We cannot express how proud we are of each of these teams.

Way to Impact!
