The Georgia Impact Fastpitch Organization announces 2010 Coach and Team Commitments!


The Georgia Impact Fastpitch Organization is extremely proud to announce the 2010 Coach & Team Commitments!

After sending an Organization record eight teams to ASA Nationals in 2009, we have poised the Organization to improve upon that success by adding several high quality Teams, Coaches and Players.

Spring Training was a huge Success!


A huge thanks goes out to Coach Anderson for hosting the Spring Training on February 21st and 22nd.

Also, thanks to Chris Bell (Athletic Director) and the rest of the Strong Rock Christian School staff for preparing the fields and providing maintenance over the two days. A big kudos to Bill and Kathy Goodwin for putting together concessions for the girls.

Spring Training included the:

14U Goodwin, 14U Mitchell, 16U Watts, 16U Brock, 16U Watts, 16U Miller & 18 Gold Jeffreys teams.


Georgia Softball Inks Five To National Letters-of-Intent





ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia softball head coach Lu Harris-Champer announced on Monday the signing of five student-athletes to National Letters-of-Intent to attend the University of Georgia and play for the Bulldogs beginning in the 2009-10 season.

The newest members of the Georgia softball program are Alison Owen, Katie Rietkovich, Amberlie Saxton, Sara Sikes and Laura Trout.
