Showcases
Age Group
Showcases are a great way to have your players seen by prospective colleges. See below for things to do before and after showcases to maximize exposure

Tips for Attending Showcases:
Participate in events where colleges are likely to seek players of a similar caliber to those on your team (this requires the coach to have some idea where their players want to play and what they are skilled to play)
Email/Call coaches in advance that are expected to be there with team schedule
Players should be encouraged to do the same
Even if college coaches are not likely to attend the event, it's a good practice for your players to always email coaches with their schedule as another opportunity to put the players name in front of the coach
Create Roster Profile Flyer and post behind the dugout on your teams side of the fence.
Bring more then you expect you will need (you don't want to run out) - plan on between 25-100, depending on the tournament, etc.

Get comfortable behind the fence. Your role moves from coach to manager during showcases. It's important for a representative to be standing outside the fences, ready to engage with coaches that may be watching your game.
